alfred 5 - cannot type in arguments

Open SamuelAcunaPhD opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Just upgraded to Alfred 5. I can type in the "pows" command, but as soon as I try to enter an argument (i.e., a word that I want a synonym for), Alfred suddenly switches to the default web search workflow. Not sure what is going on. Thanks!

Looks like with macOS Monterey 12.3, Apple removed the bundled Python 2 interpreter, so older Workflows dependent on Python 2 will no longer work without modification.

some more info here: https://www.alfredforum.com/topic/17941-making-python-2-workflows-work-on-macos-monterey-123-and-above/

I'm hoping it's a quick fix, I'd like to get this workflow up and running again so I can use it
