Both commits stand on their own, recommend "rebase and merge".
Wow, I just looked at your Control4D project page, the results are amazing! Congratulations and thanks for sharing your code!
@bennyguo I only tested with the zero123 system. Let me know if you have concerns about other systems.
BTW the results are in https://stability.wandb.io/threestudio/claforte-dont_composite ... and the loss itself didn't change noticeably (since only a tiny fraction of pixels are affected and eventually, all variants of the code...
Off the top of my head, hair and other semi-transparent surfaces can arise... e.g. stained glass, a car's window, the thing wings on the baby phoenix, etc.
Not easy but I might have found some folks who can get it done for us. ;-)
@bennyguo this introduces redundancies but I think it's a good short-term step... so unless you have a concern, we'd like to merge it today. Later I recommend we fold some...
