I happen to be looking at something using portaudio right now, and signed enums would be very useful for following code that uses `PaErrorCode`s [for example]( https://github.com/EddieRingle/portaudio/blob/9eb5f0b3d820a81d385504d9c54534abbeea1099/include/portaudio.h#L66)

See #297 - I used "desktop application" since "other" is no longer a choice.
I also see this and went with desktop application because it's running on a computer, not a phone or a smart tv.
