Mario damage nullified by specific addons

There are specific addons that cause damage received by NPCs and whatnot to simply not apply to Mario as intended, instead only giving him a blood splatter effect and not hurting him. This also causes the player to die immediately in a non-mario 64 way when being hit by an npc's melee "get off me" attack.

I'm unsure which specific addons do this, as I have too many installed, but from experimentation, one of them might be Destructible Doors.

After further investigation, it may not be an addon at all, but just an issue that happens with the use of g64 itself. This is as much help as I am able to give to the cause of this issue.

Update!

Found the culprit. Guess it really was an addon after all.

Edit: It also happens regardless of the addon when first spawning in as Mario, only fixing itself after you die once.
