Does this method work for real-time video read by an cv2 opencv?

Very interesting work. I am curious if you have tried your method in real-time from a 30FPS RGB feed you read using opencv cv2 Python? Do you have a sample code how to use it for this purpose?

From the first look, I am under the impression that this is rather a post-processing step. But would be amazing if it could have applicability to real-time video stream.
