Sync data from local to staging server

I have the module installed on local install and staging server install. Trying to figure out how to actually sync the data from local to the staging install. When I go to sync data the only option that comes up are 'local environment' on both sides of the UI.

How do you actual sync? Sorry if that's a stupid question, just been playing around with it for the last 45mins and can't seem to figure it out.
