How to use AutocompleteView

Hi, I am trying to implement an autocomplete feature to use with the CkEditor5. The 'Mentions' plugin is not appropriate.

I see there is an AutocompleteView (oddly not used by Mentions, any idea why?),

but I can find no illustration of how we are supposed to use it.

is there anything? thanks
