Introduce an option in Source Editing to display HTML entities as text instead of a symbol

Currently, when you specify a HTML entity (e.g. →) in source editing mode, the entity will change to the respective icon once you toggle the source editing mode off and on again.
Seeing the icon when the the source editing mode is off is expected but when you're back in source editing mode, you should be able to see the actual text that was used to create the entity instead of it's corresponding icon.

Is there any workaround possible at the moment to keep symbol as html entity in source editing mode and not as the icon/symbol ?

Unfortunately, at this time, we can't provide any workaround solution. Having said that, this thread will undoubtedly get updated when any progress is made on this feature request, so feel free to follow it for any updates on this case.
