br before blockquote gets removed

There is a bug in the bbcode plugin. When there is a "br" before a blockquote and you switch to sourcemode and back, 1 br gets removed. It happends also when you publish a post. So when you have for example 4 br´s (line breaks) before a blockquote and you switch 4 times to sourcemode and back, all the br´s are gone. Its important for me to keep the entermode br instead of p or div.

Provide detailed reproduction steps (if any)

1. Open https://ckeditor.com/docs/ckeditor4/latest/examples/bbcode.html
2. Empty / remove the existend text
3. type some unformated text "asdfasdfasfasdf"
4. press 4 times enter (4 br´s are visible in the console)
5. type some unformated text "adfasdfasdfasdf".
6. Mark this text as a blockquote
7. Switch to sourcecode
8. Check the count of the br´s, you will see now only 3 are there
9. Repeat the 3 times more and all br´s are gone and the blockquote is direct under the first text.

Expected result

Keep the line breaks.

Actual result

Line breaks gets removed on submit and sourcemode.

Has this ever been addressed or a workaround figured out? Been years, obviously, and it still does it. Same with lists.
