Add Additional Column Details

This is a great tool/site. I have been doing this as best I can in Excel but certainly much harder to not impact larger subnets when viewing in excel :)

Attached is what I track, and it would be good if you could show the following details for each subnet row and or you do show them but maybe break them into separate columns.

Network Address Gateway Start IP End IP Broadcast IP

I like your export and import feature, but is there a chance that you could have it export to Excel/CSV minus probably the far right side where you do the split and combine, as I am not sure how that would even export to view in excel or even the value of that in excel.

the "x" in my attachment is only there as it is my excel worksheet template I use to start each spreadsheet when we open a new location.

I have thought about making additional columns that can be enabled/disabled. I don't think it would actually be that hard as long as I keep the default view very concise. The problem is when you add more columns things like the NOTES column get impossible to use.

I think separate feature would be a "full export" and it exports every possible computed value to CSV and then the user can delete whatever columns they don't care about? Would include stuff like the notes, maybe the row color code, etc.

Thoughts?

I think having the default view simple is a good idea with the capabilities to display the other columns. You could also "wrap" the text in the notes field to keep the width of the page for the detail information fields.

A full column export to excel would be good and agree the user could hide or delete columns as they see fit.

Appreciate your efforts and taking these ideas into consideration.

If I may chime in: I really like using your tool! Coming here I saw that request about columns and especially an optional displayable column for VLAN would be great! in addition with your export/import, that would be a game changer to quickly calculate and plan the rough outskirts of a new network. :)
