Character permanently "on ja journey" due to coronation not happening

I (the King of France) was invited to the coronation of the King of England. The King of England has now for some reason gone into hiding, which I assume delays the coronation, as it still hasn't happened after many months. My character is now stuck being "on a journey", leaving France under regency.

Edit: England has a new King now and my character is still "on a journey" to the cancelled coronation of the old King.

There appears to be nothing in the coronation event chain that would affect it, other than the ruler dying, converting, or the coronation priest dying. It did not set the do_not_disturb flag, which has been rectified, meaning rulers can no longer go into hiding etc. during the coronation chain. Additionally, a few more fail-safes have been put in place.
