Running code on a headless server

Open fnozarian opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

Is there any way to run the code on a machine with no display system (i.e., headless server)? I tried this link to run the environment in a headless mode but I found that birdeye map is not generated correctly and I can't see it in Tensorboard.

Hello, I'm sorry that I have not tried to run this on a headless server. Seems the issue is only on pygame, maybe you can ask the pygame community about the specific problems.

@fnozarian Hi, any update on this? did you get things working? @cjy1992 How were the training done if not on a headless server? I assume it was trained on virtual machines?
