Theoretically it is possible, but practically I have had real trouble getting such models to converge. The optimizer seems to be ill suited to such cases. The way to go...

There isn't, but you might consider writing one! One feasible approach is to fix all of the model's parameters after estimation, and then swapping the data before re-running it.
