[BUG] install with .exe cannot update itself without admin rights

Bug Description

I am using a work windows machine I don't have admin rights on. I can't install handy with the .msi file because it asks for admin rights. I can install it with the setup.exe file however. But when a new version gets released, if I click on the lower right update button, the way it tried to update itself ends up asking for an admin password. So I end up downloading the .exe myself and updating by hand. Not a huuuuge problem but intractable for newbies at work I'm trying to put onboard.

Suggested fixes:

  1. Check that the .exe installs .exe not .msi
  2. If user clicks for a second time on the update button, it probably means the install failed to open the releases page.
  3. Optionaly add a dropdown to that update button to offer the choice between automated or manual update.

System Information

App Version:

Since I started so maybe 5 releases ago until at least 0.6.10

Operating System:

Windows 11

CPU:

X64

GPU:
