We Need Chinese ^_^

thanks for watching , I mean those AI can't translate voice into Chinese , but we need that

I may add support for Breeze-ASR-25 soon, this should be better for Chinese. Let me know if you know of other good Chinese models. Breeze I believe is built on Whisper Large v2 and should just work with Handy

Highly recommend Alibaba's open-source model, it's currently the best Chinese ASR model out there. FunAudioLLM/SenseVoice: Multilingual Voice Understanding Model

@RJHKing I think for now I am going to close this. Whisper does support Chinese. According to the discussion in #95, you can now choose simplified or traditional. This was included in the 0.6.2 release which has #356

I know it's not perfect and we will hopefully get more models in the future which have better support for Chinese, but right now I don't have the time to pick up new models, nor can I test them (yet!) so I need some help from the community for better Chinese support generally
