[BUG] Numpad key shortcuts either don't register or conflict with regular keys.

Bug Description

Unable to use numpad keys for shortcut.

• Shortcut appears as something like NUMPENTER, but interferes with regular ENTER key. (Can't enter a newline; triggers transcription)
• Other keys on numpad don't even seem to register. (Like numpad key 0 or +.)
• I was trying to create a shortcut without modifier keys; didn't test with any modifier keys.
• Platform: Lenovo laptop.

Definitely will like to fix this soon. May involve rewriting a portion of the keyboard handling code. Some other issues may be resolved as well
