Does not work for HackRF one

I have it working on one PC from a long time ago but tried to install it on a new PC and I spent about an hour trying to get it to work and I could not get it to show up in the device list. Both PCs are windows 8.1. The one where it worked used driver Win Usb Device 6.3.9600 however on the PC I couldn't get it to work on there was a different driver. I tried Zadig, I tried the 32 and 64 bit versions, I tried 0.2.4 and 0.2.5, I tried different USB ports, I tried updating OS, rebooting. Finally I said what the heck, let me see if it shows up in SDR# and sure enough, it was right there no problems at all. I thought SDR# didn't support the hackRF one but apparently they took care of it. I guess I don't need cubicSDR anymore then. CubicSDR also has an issue where it misses some of the peaks. Sometimes they show up in the water fall but not on the spectrum analyzer view or vice versa.
