Hamlib USB SDR Kit backend fails to initialise.
Dear All,
Is it possible that someone can check the initialisation code for the HamLib backend please?
I ask as a none programer but frequent user of CubicSDR which I think is a fantastic piece of software.
The problem I, and indeed some others, are having is to do with trying to use the Hamlib USB backend. Normally this is used with SDR kits like SoftRock etc. The problem it appears is that the USB backend doesn't initialise properly when CubicSDR starts up with the error log reporting "Rig failed to init." This from what I can see is part of the RigThread.cpp file.
Normally the USB backend only requires 2 parameters, the rig number, obviously one of Hamlib's rig number identifiers and the port, normally a simple /USB does the trick.
The CubicSDR start log file reports
"Rig thread starting." "Rig failed to init."
Is anyone able to help with this please?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Sean.
@g0oan thanks for the submission, appears to be related to #757 which I've linked here for reference
