Documentation Request: Getting Started Guide for new users, how to mass import?

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

After reading the documentation and watching the handy and informative youtube videos, as a new user I'm still left a bit confused about how to actually "get started" with using papermerge. I think it would be useful to have two or three real-world use cases / personas and corresponding guide on how to actually begin.

For example, as a user:

  • I am brand new to scanning documents, no existing scanned files, getting started from scratch.
  • I have some scanned documents that I want to add from my local computer. I have between 10 and 1,000 documents stored in folders /Taxes/2015, /Taxes/2016, /Healthcare, etc. and I want to load these into Papermerge.
  • I am coming from a competing document storage system and want to migrate my files (e.g. Mayan EDMS, Teedy, Paperless NG, etc.)

Assuming the above make sense, then I'd be looking for the following new sections of documentation:

  • The Basics: how to add documents to Papermerge? What is the inbox? How do I move documents from the inbox to folders? Should I use folders, tags, or some combination?
  • How to Mass Import: what is the best way to move an existing (organized by directory) batch of documents into Papermerge?
  • How to Migrate: system-specific instructions for users to migrate from other competing/similar systems.
