Connectivity issues for Russian users It seems like the Russian government has blocked various IPs that XIVLauncher, Dalamud and plugins use to update and download assets. This means that Russian users are likely to receive a message that XIVLauncher failed to update when starting today. If you run into this, there are two options:
Just wait a while - it's possible that the block will be undone, as we use a very popular proxy service(Cloudflare) and such a block would affect a large part of the internet Attempt to use censorship circumvention tools/VPNs for the domains kamori.goats.dev, goats.dev and goatcorp.github.io
We sadly can't help more than that, I would recommend contacting other Russian FFXIV players to see what works for them, as it seems to differ from ISP to ISP.
