Create universite-du-quebec-a-montreal-prenoms.csl

Open jjrondeau opened this issue 2 years ago • 5 comments

Hi, This new style is based on the universite-du-quebec-a-montreal.csl. The sole modification is that all author first names (author, editor, translator, etc.) are not initialized in order to give credit to women authors.

Awesome! You just created a pull request to the Citation Styles Language styles repository. One of our human volunteers will try to get in touch soon (usually within a week). In the meantime, I will run some automated checks. You should be notified of the results in a few minutes.

If you haven't done so yet, please make sure your style validates and follows all our other Style Requirements.

To update this pull request, visit the "Files changed" tab above, click on the ellipsis button in the top-right corner of your style, and then select "Edit file" to start editing:

If you have any questions, please leave a comment and we'll get back to you. While we usually respond in English, feel free to write in whatever language you're most comfortable.

Hi, I have done requested changes. Should I do something else that is missing? Thanks.

jjrondeau avatar Jun 20 '22 16:06 jjrondeau

Sorry for the delay here -- style is fine. But just to be clear, the university still uses both styles?

adam3smith avatar Aug 22 '22 13:08 adam3smith

Yes, both styles are used. UQAM-APA is still the main one. Prenoms style was requested by our feminist studies department, but we prefer not to link explicitly the style to a specific department because we want to avoid to develop too many styles derived from the main one.

Thanks!
