Render numbered bibliography entry without a tab between the citation number and rest of the entry

is it possible for citation number to not be followed by a tab? There is no tab in the suffix, but it is always inserted between the citation number and the name.

PS. I played around with the 'display' parameters in CSL and could create a tab-less entry in the visual CSL editor (https://editor.citationstyles.org/visualEditor/) but unfortunately it is still rendered by the zotero word plugin with a tab.
