Features Request: Pkt arrival interval distribution

Dear Sir: Trex is a great performance measurement tool. To generate "real-world" synthetic traffic, it is important to set the distribution of packets arrival interval. For example, Possion, Weibull, Lognormal etc. However, I can't find a way to tune the packet arrival interval using python client. My question is whether Trex has this feature? If not, would you please provide a method to realize my requirement?

TRex doesn't support non trivial distributions. The scheduler offers non uniform pseudo random distribution for now. You are very welcome to help with your implementation. Thanks, Bes
