Inexplicable "61FPS" - Broken Max FPS?
Hi! I've been trying to measure some lossless (utvideo) recordings from my iPad Pro. I recorded using VirtualDub2 to a locked 60FPS file, and while I believe the game mostly runs at a locked 60FPS, there were some noticeable hitching I wanted to try to show. Regardless, trdrop is showing the framerate as "61FPS" no matter what I do, even though it's clearly 60FPS in the headers in Explorer and MediaInfo, CFR, and I have the max FPS/analysis range set to 60FPS in trdrop. Any ideas?
Ah, glad to see that you're still using the tool :D. Sorry for not finding time earlier to respond.
This sounds really strange, did you ever analyze the video with delta-rendering enabled? This should show you the differences in every frame and you could make some sense of the result.
If possible, could you provide me with the video file in any kind of way? Otherwise you'd have to post the recording of the delta rendering here (in a compressed form) so I can try to make some sense out of it.

The properties of my recording file are 60FPS
But TRDROP reads 61FPS
@DDXDB Can you upload your sample clip?
I can now reproduce with some codec encoded at 60.00 with h265 in mp4 container while the same video in mkv container the bug didn't happen.

I used OBS to record MKV and then transcode it to MP4
Sample is too big, I don't know how to upload
I'm currently testing Zelda Skyward Sword HD and I have this issue. I recorded using my Elgato HD60S and VirtualDub6 to get the uncompressed samples. It's strange because I also got footage of Monster Hunter Stories 2 and that didn't happen, it actually captured the correct FPS

It seems that when the game is running at 60FPS, TRDROP will show 61FPS

That's not always the case, I've tested other games where this doesn't happen. Doesn't seem to be a consistent error. Video below is just one of several that I tested with Trdrop. Always captured the same way using VirtualDub

I recorded with OBS and 4K 60 Pro MK2, and 61FPS appears when the frame rate goes over 60FPS
This is the video that has been uploaded to Bilibili, I'm not sure if you can see it

I'm pretty sure 61FPS will only happen when OBS records MKV and then converts to MP4
Direct recording is normal at 60FPS for MP4
