[FEATURE] Avoid the creation of empty rooms
Avoid the creation of empty rooms by adding a message (textarea) input field in the room creation popup window.
This would also improve the UX.
I meant a room without any message.
Especially for direct rooms it makes no sense to create the room w/o any message.
TBH I don't see much usefulness of such feature, if someone don't want to create an empty room, just don't create a room.
This is not the point.
It would allow to avoid ghost rooms which clutter up the room lists.
Furthermore it would be more convenient for the user by allowing to send the initial message in just one step.
A room could be ghost even after sending a message. Also cinny don't create duplicate DM if there's already a DM.
Sometimes you think you want to message somebody and click the button to start typing, but after some thinking, you either can't come up with anything or you've changed your mind. The issue is that the room is created on the button press. At least an option for “deferred DM” (as Element calls it) would be nice.
