Any Android Japanese input cannot be converted correctly
Describe the bug
There is a bug where the Japanese characters "あ(a)" and "い(i)" cannot be entered or converted correctly in the message input field when using Gboard or Microsoft Swift Key, and then when you enter half-width alphabet characters in the Japanese software, the characters are entered twice. There is no workaround.
This web app probably does not support double-byte characters for android including Japanese.
Reproduction
- Set up a Japanese environment with Gboard or Microsoft Swift Key and input any Japanese word using "a" or "i"
- show error

Hi, this is underlying library issue, see https://github.com/ianstormtaylor/slate/issues/5493
I think what you do until that is fixed is type some character in start and then type your actual msg, later you can remove those typed characters.
