Describe the problem

When writing messages to persons, I ofen want to close the current open chat, minimize the app and when I am ready to send another/ read an answer, open the app and NOT automatically "read" the message of the last open chat. That forces me to reply (drastically overdramatize, but you get the point), even when I am not ready to reply to this person, but wanted to write/reply another person.

Describe the solution you'd like

Like in Whatsapp Web (Esc) or in Signal (Ctrl + Alt + C) I want to close the current chat and have no chat open, like when starting cinny:
