Describe the problem

I think the icon is too dark.

I'm not a graphic designer, but I think something more alive other than a black and white crow, or whatever it is we have right now, might just be a bit more pleasant to see in the taskbar.

Describe the solution you'd like

For a based soul to come up with something new and refreshing.

It looks a bit off as a web app on iOS.

i have been working on it lately and come up with ^^ wondering will it be worth replacing our existing icon?

I can appreciate the simplicity, but I think it's just a touch too small overall, and it's definitely missing that iconic beak.

I do really like the beak as well: here is my design thinking behind it as per the issue.

realistic closeup shot of real bird bird > asthetic modern which is high likely to fit within existing modern minimalistic icons.

the one problem i faced with current realistic icon is that:

• we can't fit entire realistic shape of bird into icon size
• it is not distinguishable form other bird.
• current closeup cutout create problem with designing it for different platforms

So, naturally going toward a more blurry asthetic feel entire small bird.
