Still open. Now using Cider on a freshly installed new PC. Still the exact same error.
Can you please reopen the issue? @coredev-uk
Please take some screenshots of the renderer console (Found in DevTools opened by doing Ctrl + Shift + I by default).
@coredev-uk Here you go.
Closing due to inactivity.
Can you please reopen the issue? @coredev-uk @cryptofyre The issue still persists and is so annoying that I still use iTunes despite having bought Cider.
Based on the log you provided this is an issue with MusicKit. I suggest doing a clear install and updating to the latest version of Cider.
Hi @coredev-uk - thank you for re-opening and answering. The issue still exists. I even tried the exe-install vs. Microsoft-Store install, always as clear install. What else can be done?

Can you try seeing if it exists in https://music.apple.com ?
Can you try seeing if it exists in https://music.apple.com ?
On music.apple.com and beta.music.apple.com I can see my folders, but there are not clickable. I cannot open them (as in Cider as there are not hyperlinked nor invoke an action when I click them). Tested in Firefox and Chrome, same result.

Hmm it's Apple fault then, i got some of my Playlist Folders working but some don't.

I noticed more details to this issue. The problem seems to stem from "smart playlists", i.e. playlists that are generated by songs hitting defined criteria. They are simply not displayed on music.apple.com and Cider. Any idea how to flag this to Apple?
NB#1: In the Music App on iOS those folders and smart playlists are displayed correctly nevertheless. So no general issue with them outside iTunes. NB#2: Other dynamic / generated playlists are not an issue and will be displayed (e.g. Personalized Weekly Mixes) within or outside folders.
If you are referring to smart playlists not working in Cider then yes this is known issue and out of our control. Apple has not given us any way to interact with smart playlists through their API so therefore Cider cannot play or see them. Same goes for Apple Music Web and Apple Music Web Beta, they've not added compatability for it yet. I'm sure if you look through their support page you will see this being discussed alot.
