Describe the Bug

Latest version installed via deb repo on Kubuntu 25.04.

Sign in to Apple Music with Passkey not possible. No QR code shows, just a spinning wheel that eventually disappears without any error message. (cf Screenshot)

Sign in to Apple Music with Password shows an error (cf Screenshot), but when clicking OK it is kinda logged in because i see my libraries and recently played.

After being logged in (correctly ?) with password and i try to play an album there is no music output. The progress bar advances, but no sound.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Install Kubuntu 25.04.
  • Make sure sound working with USB speakers and Bluetooth Airpods.
  • Buy Cider through Taproom
  • Add APT repo and install Cider via apt install cider

Passkey login still not possible. Password login still shows error, but seems to login. Sound has started working since yesterday.

Waiting for Kubuntu 25.10 to be available as do-release-upgrade to see if login issues still persists.

Still the same problem after upgrade to kubuntu 25.10. QR Code for passkey never shows, password login displays error. But eventually you are logged in, even after error.
