Describe the Bug
Sometimes (not sure yet when it happens) the Apple Music integration seems to break, so the UI does not load any new playlists while switching playlists. It just shows the “loading” indicator, but nothing happens. Only personal sidebar playlists seem to be affected — the usual Apple Music ones are working fine. Even the "Show all playlists" tab is still working. Just direct playlists via the sidebar don't load anymore.
Playback is working fine. Happens on Windows 11 and macOS, so maybe an issue with Apple Music (DE) in general? Forcing a refresh won't fix, just restarting the app does.
Steps to Reproduce
- Listen to music.
- Switch playlists to a personal one.
Difficult to reproduce but happens from time to time.

still the issue, not only on playlists, but with any page within the app
I doubt someone cares about it 😢
I'm hoping the upcoming version 4 fixes this problem, but the lack of even acknowledgement from the development team doesn't make me very optimistic
Hey! I'm also having this issue, since a while. It's been happening inconsistently on both Windows and Linux, only on Linux and not Windows at first and for a long long time, and since a few months, it is the exact opposite. And the issue does not happen on all of my Windows installations.
It has been super frustrating since there is no errors, even in the developer console.
Wild guess I have since a while : maybe it has to do with some weird metadata from some mp3 synced from my Macbook Music iCloud library? Because I have a shitton of audio files with weird id3 tags.
Could be that, I also have a bunch of music with some potentially weird tags, however I imported those through the Apple Music app on Windows. I'll try to spend some time debugging this tomorrow, because I'm yet to look into this thoroughly. I do find it a bit odd that the imported library would be the reason, as I'd assume Apple sanitizes those, but I can't say for sure as I only started using AM recently.
I never imported music into my library, so I guess it's not the main issue.
My DevTools console looks like this, as Cider stops being able to load playlists and albums. I don't think the Uncaught (in promise) No token found in localStorage error is the issue, as it seems to be posted every time the currently playing song changes. (attached video shows that error being thrown even as albums are loading)
