TweetDuck links to Tweetdeck page
TweetDuck 1.20
Settings -> Release notes
opens the link: https://twitter.com/i/tweetdeck_release_notes
Me as a user I would not expect a link to the old Tweetdeck page.
It links to TweetDeck because that's what the app is based on. TweetDuck specific options are under the TweetDuck option below, all options in the top part of the menu belong to the TweetDeck website.
OK. I understand the reason. But as an User I use TweetDuck and expect under the label "release notes" the actual release notes of TweetDuck. How to solve the expectation and the technical world? Do we still need this item in the settings menue list? Could we skip it? What about a link in the TweetDuck section to the "new" changelog of TweetDuck https://github.com/chylex/TweetDuck/releases ?
I'd rather not remove it completely because if TweetDeck updates, it will affect the app and there should be a way for users to know why something changed. I would rather figure out a better way to organize the menu, perhaps move the TweetDuck options elsewhere, but I haven't figured out a good way to do that.
There will be no new features or bugfixes.
