Exporting Filtered data to a PDF or Text file for AI Analysis
Hi - I downloaded the WIndows version of your software today, I am running WIndows 11.
The Manual Method in Discord APP doesn't work for me - the shortcut key to Developer in the APP won't work - but the browser did let me paste the tracker code and worked fine.
I downloaded a single DM for testing (and was shocked to fined we'd exchanged over 13k messages and 7gb of files lol!!!
But the main purpose I downloaded the software was to find a way to export a number of days from tech channels in a way that I can then get ChatGPT or another AI to analyse and question. Like to create How To's from conversations etc...
What I can't work out from your FAQs is how to export a view to Text or PDF or HTML or Markdown - or anything I can then store in a Chat for analysis?
The save view doesn't seem to be available
Am I missing something obvious?
The option to save an HTML file was removed, it didn't scale with increasing number of messages, and didn't support downloaded files at all.
The archive file is a standard SQLite database, you can open it with any tool that supports SQLite. You can probably find a tool that can export the database into a suitable format.
Feel free to ask about anything specific, I don't have any plans to add new export methods right now when people can (with some effort) use existing SQLite tools.
I understand - I have been trying to build an n8n workflow to access the sqlite3 tables and interrogate / talk to the data. Slow progress as it doesn't really like that flavour of sql but will get there eventually. Thanks for making the software though! On Tuesday 17 June 2025 at 04:04:45 BST, chylex @.***> wrote:
