interface not created

Hi,

i have a running configuration with host interface igb0 being in vm-switch "igb0bridge" and I have a ubuntu virtual client. All is well.

On the host I have igb0.20 as a plan as well. I wanted to have a corresponding interface in my ubuntu as well. So I created a switch and added the igb0.20 port. I added a network1_type="virtio-net" and network1_switch="iot". It does show up with vm info. When I start the ubuntu client the additional network interfaces do NOT show and a vm switch info does not show tap interfaces though. Any idea what I might be missing?

network-interface number: 0 emulation: virtio-net virtual-switch: igb0bridge fixed-mac-address: 58:9c:ab:05:51:57 fixed-device: - active-device: - desc: - mtu: bridge: vm-igb0bridge

network-interface number: 1 emulation: virtio-net virtual-switch: iot fixed-mac-address: 58:9c:ab:05:51:58 fixed-device: - active-device: - desc: - mtu: bridge: vm-igb0bridge

Is bridge vm-igb0bridge correct for both? I am missing something stupid I am afraid.

Regards JP
