Start in window mode

Fruitbox is running in fullscreen mode. I want to access it remote from an iPad via VNC. VNC access is no problem, but, because of fullscreen mode I don't see anything remote. Is there a way to start fruitbox in a window? Thanks a lot

Fruitbox doesn't use Xorg or Wayland, so VNC doesn't work for it. It's a fullscreen console application.
