This is somewhere between Apollo's and Toot!'s graphical representation of threads.

Visually very close to Apollo, at this point.

Must-haves:

• [ ] like A and T, graphically indicate what something is in reply to
• [ ] don't change the actual status display itself too much

Nice-to-haves:

• [ ] like A but unlike T, allow collapsing subthreads to skip meandering discussions
• [ ] like A, read markers?
• [ ] like T but unlike A, semi-flatten the hierarchy

• [ ] like A, read markers? // probably not doing this
• [ ] like T but unlike A, semi-flatten the hierarchy // not implemented, but should probably do this
