A toggle button next to the source drop-down that slides in two rows atop the timeline table:

  • a search text box
  • a segmented control(?) where you toggle between:
    • Show All
    • Show All Except Boosts
    • Show Only Media
    • Show Only Links

Semi-inspired by https://toot.cafe/@chartier/110216131723287999, which isn't quite the same thing as "show only links"; it would also have to coalesce those and maybe rank by most-linked.

We could also design this a bit like Mail.

I… don't really like how hard that menu is to use, though (am I missing something, or is it only reachable with click-and-hold, and closes after?).

But it did inspire me that we could use this to achieve a unified timeline, maybe, where you combine Home and Mentions (which doesn't currently exist as its own thing). And I do like that it lights up (inverted, colored) when enabled.

The main UI challenge there is that we're mixing various different combinations. Is a Quick Filter AND-combined? OR-combined? Does it mean NOT?
