Most locations not found

I figure I must be doing something wrong, but more than half of the locations I'm trying return 'unable to find your location' no matter what input format I use. Town name/state, Zip code, and lat/lon all return errors. I have one single location that will return a result using lat/lon, and other than that it seems I can only get results if the town I'm searching for is the most prominent town in the world with that name.

For example, I'm in Alaska. If I use wttr.in/Fairbanks, wttr.in/Anchorage, or wttr.in/Juneau I get correct weather results. But what if I want Whittier, Alaska? wttr.in/Whittier returns Whittier, California. Anything specifying Whittier, AK returns 'unable to find your location', I've tried: wttr.in/Whittier,AK wttr.in/"Whittier,AK" wttr.in/Whittier,Alaska wttr.in/"Whittier,Alaska" wttr.in/99693 (zip code) wttr.in/60.77,-148.69 wttr.in/"60.77,-148.49"

This is true for almost all of the smaller Alaskan towns I've tried. If the towns are too small to be searched for by name, that's understandable, but I would have thought zip code or lat/lon would still work.

In testing, I tried wttr.in/"-90,0" for the south pole and wttr.in/"90,0" for the north pole. Both of those rather confusingly return weather for: "Location: Territoire-de-Belfort, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, France métropolitaine, France [47.62923095,6.89930115671088]"

The only lat/lon I did get to work for a small town was for Seward, Alaska: wttr.in/"60.10,-149.44"
