Gas price is a value equal to the current limit of gas expenditure per block, according to the miners.
I don't know what that means and it sounds wrong. Isn't gas price specified in the transaction?
This is almost a direct quote from Yellowpaper pp. 5, namely:
gasLimit: A scalar value equal to the current limit of gas expenditure per block
It seems those two concepts got merged (price and limit). Are you accepting PRs for this?
@evertonfraga I'm definitely accepting PRs for this! I'd appreciate your contributions and help immensely!
The reason it's taken me so long to get back is because having lost my position at ConsenSys, I've been job hunting for some time now and haven't had the time to regularly check on this repo and keep it updated.
Thank you for your time and attention, and help in resolving this issue!
No problem! Thanks for letting me know anyway.
Have you thought of applying for a grant for this project? Personally, I think it's a great service to the community :)
