Clicking "New Area of Interest", then going back/clicking logo keeps bounding selection tool active

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Click "New Area of Interest"
  2. Click the logo or back button in browser to exit the Add Area mode
  3. Click anywhere in map

Observed: Crosshair cursor. Clicking without dragging results in a point being added to the map. Expected: Grab cursor. Clicking without dragging enters drag mode.
