Videos not playing

Describe the bug Videos that are marked NSFW with “sensitive content tap to play” aren’t playing. When you tap the video, loading symbol will pop up and it’ll just keep loading and never play.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Find a video thats marked “NSFW sensitive content tap to play”.
  2. Tap it to play it.
  3. Error occurs.

iOS version: 15.6.1 Apollo version: 1.13.1 iOS device: iPhone 8 Jailbroken: Not jailbroken. Reproducible: Yes, you can reproduce the behavior.

NSFW videos will not play, they open in loading but never play, tried wifi, 5G, restarted. Cleared cashe, nothing is working. Please advise and/or update. IOS device 15.6.1 Apple iPhone 13 pro

I’m having this exact same issue, it has been happening on all my iOS devices using Apollo for 3 days.

I’m able to get NSFW videos/gifs to play, but IFF they are on Imgur or Reddit directly. Images on Redgifs do always fail though (as the other thread shows).

Same. Redgifs doesn’t load in Apollo anymore.

This bug is extremely frustrating . Using a VPN and clearing cache also doesn't seem to help at all

I have the same problem on iOS 16.2. When I try to open it in Safari, it offers the Reddit app, trying that I get "Something went wrong" on Reddit as well, so it would appear its not just an Apollo issue
