Neat project!

I'd like to be able to run the client headless and record the results in a way that would let me trend them over time. It'd be interesting to see how my broadband connection behaves over the course of a day. Is that something you'd be willing to add to the client? The min/avg/max speeds and ping times are probably all I'd really need.

It wouldn't be terribly hard--I would probably do it as a separate client since the CLI client is designed around the UI. I don't have time to work on this right now but will leave this issue open in case someone else wants to take a stab at it or if my schedule changes.
