syncing does not happen

Installed the project with the exact bundle it specifies. The project loads on the browser and shows data. But no realtime update happens. Even on the same browser window, deletes or adds don't show unless one refreshes. The 'delete' works on Firefox but not Safari. SAfari does not even seem to have a delete button.
