New messages do not appear

New version of app, 2.0.0, does not keep messages updated. I have to close the app and reload it to get current messages. This did not happen in previous versions.

I'm increasingly having this issue as well. It's happening with the Mac version. My carrier is Cricket (basically AT&T's network).

I'll hear my phone get the text and nothing will appear until I quit the app and restart it. Usually happens after the app has been open for a long while.
