I've had this before, it's not Calligraphy, from memory it's either a multidex issue or a build tools issue. I can't quite remember how I fixed it.

@safir187, @RomanZhilich is right, there is no remote way (at least through public api) to set the Typeface on the RemoteView, which is a shame, but I guess widgets are...
@safir187 yeah that would've been my next go-to 'solution', that might be quite a cool module to add to calligraphy as an extension, you able to do a PR?
Interesting. This isn't high on my priority list, but feel free to have a fiddle around let me know what you find out.

Not sure how it works, you might have to set the font programmatically. I guess the keys probably aren't inflated, or it uses it's own layout inflater.
OTF fonts are a pain they hardly work. And you need to use well formatted TTF, (Generally Webfonts work)
