persistant cache on reboots

I would like unbound to save cache and reload on reboot

I don't think I understand. Save cache of what?

When you use unbound it stores a dns cache in ram. There are options to save this cache across reboots so we can keep our cache however the unbound binary has to be compiled with certain flags enabled for it to work.
