Quirky shift

In the demo page, on the "without symbols" example, if you click shift the numbers dissapear. If you then input a letter, the letters return to lowercase but the numbers row remains disabled. If you now click on shift again, the numbers row is now replaced with a symbol row (on the disabled symbols example, no less).

There seems to be an issue with flags not being properly handled internally in your code.
