I guess you can compile your own version using `--disable-xattr`

It's the `-`. it is not matched by `\a` https://github.com/vim/vim/blob/c49cb93a86216eb3a9e5816227e242d54b72bdf8/runtime/syntax/python.vim#L162-L163 ping @zvezdan

> syntax enable > let g:markdown_fenced_languages = ['markdown'] Why do you add Markdown syntax highlighting to Markdown Syntax? This doesn't make any sense

Thanks. What is the reason to add `-` to the keyword setting? Perhaps you should instead use `:syn iskeyword` in the syntax script?

Thanks. I would think this change makes a lot of sense. However let me mark it as draft for now.

I think, you don't need to ping me explicitly on every comment. I already get all notifications. Thanks

You should give a bit more context. Took me a while that you consider the cursor to be put on to the eol list marker because of the `virtualedit` setting,...

okay, so with a few lines slightly smaller than the screen-width with cursor on the end-of-line marker and pressing `gk`/`gj` it moves to the next screen-line onto the `end-of-line` marker....

converting to draft for now. Thanks
