Cannot open network database

Open pc-bastler opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Hi,

I installed XCA 2.4.0 on my Debian Bullseye (KDE Plasma) via the flatpak installer.

I cannot open my network database, the option for opening nw-dbs is greyed out.

How can I get it to work, which addtl. packages do I need?

Best wishes

I experience the same issue. Just installed from flatpak and "Open Remote database" is greyed out.

Same issue for me as well - running the 2.4.0-dev version.

In my distro (Zorin) I am able to install XCA from the "Software" explorer, as well as the command line - when installing via the command line, I did notice there were recommended packages:

The following additional packages will be installed: libqt5sql5-mysql Recommended packages: libqt5sql5-postgresql The following NEW packages will be installed: libqt5sql5-mysql xca

I am now able to see the 'Open Remote DataBase' option - perhaps a dependant package needs to be installed in order for it to ned be greyed out?
