3-way or Conference Calling feature would be awesome!
Any chance you could add that to the roadmap?
Thanks!
There isn't really a roadmap.. as this is just a sample. Conference/transfer can be done with Twilio pretty easily, are you using this exact code? Or would yo implement your own using conference: https://www.twilio.com/docs/api/twiml/conference ?
Hello, I deployed using Option 1 to Heroku and it seems the app keep crashing due to this error. Appreciate if you can let me know on how to fix it.
/app/vendor/ruby-2.0.0/lib/ruby/2.0.0/uri/generic.rb:214:in `initialize': the scheme mongodb does not accept registry part: heroku:OV-g5g2GmsXQy8rQTszY8U1f1s7I3AmCsmRHmKHyNAgNjbr1f-0D6nfmZW5qarw4eI_UJX3OBkr2xItajW4ltA@candidate.37.mongolayer.com:10653,candidate.18.mongolayer.com:10683 (or bad hostname?) (URI::InvalidURIError)
Did you add on the paid mongo extension on install? I haven't tried this yet, when I started this it was free, then they moved to a paid option. If you did add it and its not working, we might be able to ping them.
I may spin up a new instance to see if I can reproduce...
I think the URI to connect to Compose MongoDB (paid version) has the characters i.e. underscore that is not supported by Ruby. The workaround below could potentially solve the issue but I haven't tested. I took different route by spinning up another MongoDB instance from MongoLab (the free one) that has much simpler URI and it seems to be working. Thanks again for putting this app for us to test.

Hey @judamarto - I'm going to move this thread to a new issue. The conference call thing is still open, but I think we can solve this one, by using MongoLab instead.
Perfect! I didn't realize that I posted in a wrong topic
